Earthquake (In My Heart)

1.  Some time yesterday, my world started shaking

Next thing I knew, I was all alone

Screaming in my heart, felt I was dying

     No place to call home

My family’s all gone now, I’m all that I’ve got

Can’t think of tomorrow, too much pain right now

Everything has crumbled, world’s fallen apart

There’s an earthquake in my heart

Chorus:

My deep cry I can’t deny

I know I’m hurt, but I gotta try

Take my hand n help me stand

So I can reach the promised land

I’m alone, but not at all

God the Father I can call

Send a friend to show me love

Give me hope from up above

2.  My whole life lies crumbled in ruins

Don’t know if I’ll ever see my family again

The whole world’s fallen, destruction all around

     My heart’s on shaky ground

Nothing lasts forever, but nothing’s all that I’ve got

My only possession is my broken heart

I look up to heaven, raise a holy plea

There’s an earthquake in my heart

Bridge:

Through Love we can make it

It will heal our broken hearts

Cuz we are one… in Love
