Pray for the Fruit of Our Outreach
The outreach on the dusty space in our Meyotte neighborhood was great. Thanks for your prayers! More than 400 people showed up! They stood the whole time, about two hours, as they heard some singing, preaching by Pastor Tom Pokorni, The Jesus Film for Children and then an altar call for them to give their lives to Jesus.
It was so packed there was no room for people to come forward, but lots of hands went up - an estimated 65 people. 18 of them came up on their own to say they had given their lives to the Lord! Thanks to God! The harvest is ripe!
I also told those who prayed that if they’re serious about following God they need to read the Bible, to get to know Him through His Word. Please keep praying! You know how much I believe in discipleship. 32 showed up on Friday for a Bible Study! Keep praying!
Our Pilot MicroLoan Program
On another front, Haitian David Cyril Saintime is our pilot MicroLoan program director! He's a long-time friend of Fanes and a leader of the children’s program since the beginning. He’s also a hospital (think: big clinic) administrator. We have distributed seven MicroLoans of $100 or less. Please keep these folks in your prayers - and David, too. I want to expand this program as funds become available.
Pray for our director, Fanes, as he pours out his heart to the children while also working a full-time job at the Port-au-Prince airport.
Pray for our seven MicroLoan clients to successfully develop their small businesses, as they have received our first loans.
Pray for Our Saturday Kingdom Children programs, which we've now been able to move to a school right in the Meyotte valley where most of our kids live. They used to have to walk 25 minutes to get to the program! Keep these precious kids in your prayers!
Pray for the most faithful children, who have just become the first 17 official members of our Club Jezi (Jesus Club). JUST IN - WE'RE UP 45 JESUS CLUB MEMBERS NOW!
Pray for wisdom in directing this ministry by God's Spirit.
