A Great Location

Here’s our great new headquarters in Haiti!

Ever since the earthquake we’ve been looking for a building from which we can run our different ministries. Now a great opportunity has opened up and thanks to many of our partners, we have just rented this fine building for the next year.

We are located right in Meyotte, far easternmost Port-au-Prince neighborhood where we’re working with our Kingdom Kids Haiti. It’s not huge (only part of the building), but it’s ours to use and we are really excited!

We Need Furnishings

Now that we have our own building, we need to furnish it. This is a challenge in Haiti. There are no Walmarts, RoomStores or even thrift stores. Furnishings are rare and expensive. We need household furnishings, appliances and office equipment and a lot more.

We need benches for classes we will hold in the living room and yard, and blackboards too. Awning-like roofs for shade and a generator for when the electricity goes out (every day). We need chairs and tables, dressers and lamps – you get the idea.

But hey! God has blessed us with this building, so we believe He’s going to help us fill it up too.

1. As always, the first thing we need is prayer. Right now would you just say, “Fill that house, Lord!”

2. If you’re able to help financially, the kids in Haiti would appreciate it. We estimate it will take us only $4500 to complete our flex space for living and teaching.

3. It’s a great help if you tell someone you know about GloryWorks.ORG and what we’re doing in Haiti. Spread the news – on FaceBook, by email and in your church! Almost everyone understands how much Haiti needs help, but few folks personally know of a mission they can trust.  Share the Love!
