Why Haiti?
Shortly after the massive earthquake hit Haiti in January, 2010, GloryWorks founder Tom Pokorni traveled to the capitol of Port-au-Prince with Community Christian Church’s Pastor Eddy Gervais, Gang Alternative's Executive Director Michael Nozile and CCC member Evens Jean .

What’s h4H?
h4H means Hope4Haiti - spiritually, mentally and physically.
In the first few weeks after the earthquake GloryWorks distributed more
than $10,000 directly to individuals who had lost their homes in the quake. But
it was clear that Haiti
needed more than triage – it needed a long-range plan. As a result we began planning
a permanent work in Haiti
with long-term assistance.
Our Hope4Haiti program is focused on providing direct physical and financial help to the Haitians who need it most, boosting their economy by establishing a MicroLoan program, teaching entrepreneurial skills and beginning fish farming in the near future.
But we also believe that the future of Haiti lies in the hearts and minds of its children. Children are always the most devastated by a catastrophe, and Haiti was no exception. An estimated 600,000 youth remain homeless since the quake.
Hope4Haiti is establishing programs which will minister to the children and youth of the country spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.
